How do I cancel an order I have placed?

We are very sorry, but orders cannot be changed once they have been placed. We process orders very quickly, and once an order enters the fulfillment process, we are unable to modify or cancel it. Refunds will not be given for shipping charges after your order has been sent.  We apologize for any inconvenience and hope that in the majority of cases our faster processing time works to your advantage.

Shipping rates for outside the continental USA will be calculated after your order has been processed. For any packages shipped out side the Continental USA will be shipped via Postal Service. Arrangements can be made if you wish to use a different method.  Communication regarding shipping charges and method will be made prior to purchase being shipped. You will be contacted after your order has been placed to discuss charges.

Or    You may email Hilda's prior to placing your order to find out the shipping rate to your specific location.

Shipping charges at check out are an estimate: As long as email and a phone are provided, you will be contacted to finalize all shipping details.

Hilda's Uses both United States Postal Service (USPS) &  United Parcel Service (UPS)

 Rates vary for the method choosen. At check out please, choose the perfered method, and Hilda's will try to sned you your purchase in the selected way.

UPS WILL NOT SHIP TO P.O. BOX LOCATIONS; YOU MUST HAVE A PHYSICAL ADDRESS FOR SHIPPING.

Most orders ship the day we receive them (99%), provided there aren't any problems with the order, or credit card processing. We ship orders with USPS or UPS, unless other arrangements are made. When shipping USPS we use priority service and handbags are received within 3-5 business days.   UPS may take from 1 day to 2 weeks to deliver your package to you. The length of time it takes, depends on the type of delivery service you requested such as:  Next Day Air, 2nd Day Air, 3 Day Select or Ground delivery.  These additional services will get the package to you faster, however they will cost you more in shipping charges from UPS.

Free shipping does not apply to:

  • Luggage  and/or Luggage sets
  • Locations outside the Continental USA 
  • Wholesale purchases
  • Any type of special delivery: these are examples and not the total list - Express, 2nd Day Air 
  • All items ordered after promotion is over will pay regular shipping charges.  Regular shipping charges apply to all merchandise that is to be delievered outside the continental USA. Regular shipping charges will also be charged on the following items:  Luggage sets and black leather luggage pcs, back orders, special orders. Free shipping does not apply to any merchandise that is returned. All shipping charges on returned items, is the buyers responsibility. We can accept returned saleable merchandise for up to 14 days from the date you originally received it. Because our great values change frequently as we locate new and exciting deals for you, our 14-day return policy gives you time to return a purchase, while helping us to keep our merchandise assortment fresh and in season. 

Please note:  To be accepted for return, items must be in their original purchase condition, including the original product packaging, manufacturer's containers, documentation,and all accessories. Any item that you received with tags attached must be returned with those tags intact. All packaging, including the original manufacturer's containers, must be unmarked and not defaced in any manner. Items purchased as part of a set or multi-item pack may not be returned individually. For any item that you want to return, please email us within 14 days of receipt, stating defect, or damage that occurred during shipping. If you are returning the item with 14 days without  there being a defect or damage a 15% restocking fee will be deducted from the refund.
Upon receiving your request to return an item(s), we will email you back a code that must be written on the outside of the returning package. Returns that do not meet these requirements will be sent back to you at your expense and no refund will be issued.
  1. Package up merchandise in a safe and secure manner. Note: You the customer are responsible for all freight charges for items returned back to hildashandbags.com. Returns can take 1-2 weeks to process and for the credit to be issued. We recommend a carrier with a tracking system number to verify delivery, and that you include carrier insurance for the returned package for the price of the item purchased.
  2. Carefully pack up the merchandise you are returning and include the original packing slip.
  3.  Affix a return label to your package.
  4.  Ship the return package to us, using the carrier of your choice.
  5.  If the product comes to you damaged by the shipper, go to the "Contact Us" section of this site and email us the invoice number and reason for the return. When              contacting Customer Service, please refer to your order number, the returned or exchanged product must be unopened.
  6.  Please initiate all returns or exchanges within 14 days of receipt.
  7.  To initiate a return please email or call us within 14 days of receipt of merchandise and a return code will be given to you. Please put this code on the outside of shipping box.
  8.   Any item that is returned without prior approval, and a visible return code on the outside of the package, will be returned unopened to the customer.
