Black beauty arrives on wings of thousands of crocheted black seed beads! The beads appear as glossy black seaweeds gently swaying in the prevailing currents of the sea. In perfect condition, this crocheted vintage handbag is rectangular and 10"x 5" tall with slightly rounded corners. It features full length triple compartments, with the center compartment secured by a gleaming golden colored hand attached to a fully functioning zipper. Am not sure of the vintage, but would guess it to be from the forties era. Interior is black silk, with thick outer compartment walls.
To hold this black beaded handbag in your hand is to truly see the beauty, from the fine crocheted stitches made with beads, the scalloped edges and the tiny femine hand. This fine golden hand that comes complete with a ring, is the zipper pull and a tennis bracelet!!
